MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY
Dog Walking
Provide socialization to help dogs put their best "paw" forward while waiting for their new home. Open to ages 9-15 with an adult, 16-17 with parental consent and adults.
Therapy Dog Visits
Bring your therapy dog for one-hour visits with people who are missing companionship. Join the LIFE Center program while the regular therapy dogs are on summer break!
Discovery Ambassadors
Volunteer to help visitors navigate the museum and facilitate family-friendly activities to enhance and improve the overall guest experience.
The 2022 Homeless Stand Down engaged 524 volunteers, 80 nonprofits and 44 businesses to serve 1,000 guests, with 96% of guests saying that the resources provided will help them in the future. BVU is excited to plan next year's event and will keep you informed of upcoming volunteer opportunities.
