Parker’s Cleveland-area Summer Interns volunteered yesterday to support an urban farm in Cleveland’s Kinsman neighborhood. Rid-All Green Partnership has an impressive operation of greenhouses and hoop houses around Otter Park. They give back to the community by growing food and teaching others about sustainable farming practices and healthy eating.     We are deeply saddened by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Our thoughts are with all those affected in the region. The Parker Foundation has donated to Direct Relief and the UN World Food Program to deliver critical medical supplies and meals for first responders and survivors. Our team members are extending their support through a matching gift campaign as part of our Community Disaster Relief Program.

    What a great time of year to take a step back, take stock of accomplishments, and express appreciation for others! We launched a global volunteer program in 2022 which supports Parker teams around the world who want to give back to their communities. I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of these teams, especially during this holiday season. In just two months, Parker teams have planned and participated in over 40 volunteer activities and have given over 1,200 volunteer hours to help families and children in need around the globe! A huge THANK YOU to all the Parker teams who have initiated and engaged in volunteer activities this holiday season and throughout 2022. You are truly making a difference in the lives of others and in your communities. I look forward to our continued work together in 2023 and beyond. Happy holidays!!! #thankyou #iwork4parker #csr

    WISH UPDATE! Last summer, Make-A-Wish granted Lucio's wish to have a Macbook computer to make cooking videos. Since then, Lucio has been busy learning new skills in the kitchen, and this month, he had the opportunity to cook delicious pasta for 100+ at Parker Hannifin in Cleveland. The Parker Foundation was so impressed with the meal it pledged $10,000 to Make-A-Wish in his honor! Thank you, Parker, and we can't wait to eat at your restaurant one day, Lucio!

    Our amazing team of Parker volunteers and family members recently supported the annual toy program for the Salvation Army of Cleveland. After concluding a successful fundraising drive, we gathered on Friday for a very rewarding service project to sort and select toys for distribution to deserving Cleveland area children. This is the fourth year Parker has supported this worthwhile cause. #iwork4parker
